Raflbot’s Privacy Policy

Privacy comes first and foremost at Raflbot. Your privacy is critically important to us. This privacy policy is effective January 1st, 2017; it summarizes what information we might collect from a registered user or other participant, and what we will and will not do with it.

Raflbot is 100% General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliant. This means that we will never text message or email you anything you didn’t explicitly opt-in for.

First, we have a few fundamental principles at Raflbot:

  • We don’t ask you for personal information unless we truly need it to provide our services.
  • We don’t share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law, develop our products, or protect our rights.
  • We don’t sell personal information. Your name, phone number, and email address will never be given or sold to a 3rd party.
  • We don’t store personal information on our servers unless it’s required for the on-going operation of one of our services.

Like most website operators, Raflbot collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Raflbot’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Raflbot’s visitors use its website and to provide relevant social media advertisements to them afterwards.

From time to time, Raflbot may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

Raflbot also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users and for users leaving comments on Raflbot blogs. Raflbot only discloses logged in user and commenter IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below, except that blog commenter IP addresses are visible and disclosed to the administrators of the blog where the comment was left.

One other exception is when a Raflbot sweepstake is entered by text message (MMS), the phone number of the entrant will be logged and available for Raflbot administrators to view with the intentions of using this information to help moderate sweepstake entries. It’s common for sweepstake promotions run by event administrators to limit entries into their sweepstakes to one per household or per phone number, as a phone number might represent an individual person.

Certain visitors to Raflbot’s websites choose to interact with Raflbot in ways that require Raflbot to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that Raflbot gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who sign up for an account at Raflbot to provide a name and email address. Those who engage in transactions with Raflbot – by purchasing access to a premium service for example – are asked to provide additional information, including as necessary the personal and financial information required to process those transactions.

In each case, Raflbot collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with Raflbot. Raflbot does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.

Enter the Sweepstakes during the Promotion Period by texting a photo to your participating event’s Raflbot phone number, more info can be found at https://www.raflbot.com.

Automated or robotic Entries submitted by individuals or organizations will be disqualified. Text message entry must be made by the Entrant. Any attempt by Entrant to obtain more than the stated number of Entries by using multiple/different email addresses, phone numbers, identities, registrations, logins or any other methods, including, but not limited to, commercial contest/sweepstakes subscription notification and/or entering services, will void Entrant’s Entries and that Entrant may be disqualified. Final eligibility for the award of any prize is subject to eligibility verification as set forth below. All Entries must be posted by the end of the Promotion Period in order to participate. Sponsor’s database clock will be the official timekeeper for this Sweepstakes.

If you have reason to believe the giveaway administrator is using this list maliciously, please contact us at [email protected]

Raflbot may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its websites and sweepstakes entrants. For instance, Raflbot may monitor the most popular Raflbot sweepstakes. Raflbot also has Google Analytics installed on our site as well as other analytic programs that help us gather feedback and make decisions on how to improve our service offerings. However, Raflbot does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.

Raflbot discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on Raflbot’s behalf or to provide services available at Raflbot’s websites, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. Some of those employees, contractors and affiliated organizations may be located outside of your home country; by using Raflbot’s websites or app, you consent to the transfer of such information to them.

As an example, if you’re having trouble with choosing a winner (whether that be user error or a bug on our end) and you file a support ticket, an employee of Raflbot may access your account to help decide how to best remedy the solution. This might include opening up your list of entries and seeing entrant information.

Raflbot will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. Other than to its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations, as described above, Raflbot discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only in response to a subpoena, court order or other governmental request, or when Raflbot believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of Raflbot, third parties or the public at large.

If you are a registered user of the Raflbot website and have supplied your email address, Raflbot may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what’s going on with Raflbot and our products. We primarily use our blog, Facebook page, Instagram page, and Twitter account to communicate this type of information, so we expect to keep this type of email to a minimum. If you send us a request (for example via a support email or via one of our feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish it in order to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help us support other users. Raflbot takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.

If Raflbot or substantially all of its assets were acquired, or in the unlikely event that Raflbot goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, user information would be one of the assets that are transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur and that any acquirer of Raflbot may continue to use your personal information as set forth in this policy.

Ads appearing on any of our websites or apps may be delivered to users by advertising partners, who may set cookies. These cookies allow the ad server to recognize your computer each time they send you an online advertisement to compile information about you or others who use your computer. This information allows ad networks to, among other things, deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to you. This Privacy Policy covers the use of cookies by Raflbot and does not cover the use of cookies by any advertisers.

As you browse Raflbot.com or use the Raflbot App, third parties, including Google, may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to collect or receive information from your website or smartphone and elsewhere on the internet and use that information to provide measurement services and target ads. Additionally, third parties may collect or receive information from your app and other apps and use that information to provide measurement services and targeted ads. The techniques our partners employ do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, postal address, or telephone number.
